08/15/2012 - Less than two weeks into preseason camp, a second member of the Alabama football team has undergone surgery. Backup safety Jarrick Williams had surgery Tuesday morning on one of his knees. He tore an ACL in practice Friday morning. Last week, freshman wide receiver Chris Black had surgery to repair a shoulder injury that he suffered on Aug. 5. "Chris Black is back and surgery was good," Alabama coach Nick Saban said after practice Tuesday. "Jarrick got his today, this morning. Haven't talked to doc yet, but hoping that went well." Saban also said he is "hoping both those guys have successful rehabs and get back to their team." Black is out for 3-4 months. Williams will miss the 2012 season. - Don Kausler Jr., The Huntsville Times
