09/06/2013 - Scouting the Georgia passing game: Losing starting WR Malcolm Mitchell (torn ACL) for the season hurts, but the Bulldogs have enough quality wideouts available to step up. Michael Bennett, Justin Scott-Wesley and Chris Conley are all WRs capable of making big plays in Georgia's offense. But Georgia must solve its issues in pass protection heading into the South Carolina game. The Bulldogs allowed four sacks against Clemson, and starting LT Kenarious Gates will have his hands full blocking South Carolina Heisman Candidate DE Jadeveon Clowney. Georgia coach Mark Richt blamed the pass protection issues on having to go to a silent snap count at Clemson's Memorial Stadium. He thinks those issues should be remedied this week when Georgia can go back to a verbal snap count at home against Georgia. - The Sports Xchange
