Strengths Weaknesses

STRENGTHS: Big frame with excellent length and overall wingspan. Coordinated footwork and plays fluid and flexible for his size. Good range and pursuit skills to chase down the action from behind. Good versatility to line up at various spots on the defensive line. A lot of untapped potential with the size that cannot be taught. WEAKNESSES: Lean frame and needs to add more bulk. Not as strong as he appears and needs to improve his functional strength. Hasn't faced top competition on a consistent basis and is in for a big learning curve. Not technically-sound and needs to learn how to utilize his length and frame. Doesn't always play smart, relying more on his natural skills than with his head. Limited gap integrity and doesn't always appear to have a plan.

Player Overview

Bilukidi had a long and winding road before landing at Georgia State. Born in Angola, he also lived in France and Brazil before his parents relocated to Ottawa, Ontario. Bilukidi played only one year of high school football, but was still considered one of the country's top prospects. Also a basketball player, he enrolled at Eastern Arizona Junior College and registered 27 tackles in 2009 before moving on to Georgia State. A two-year starter for the Panthers, Bilukidi saw time inside and outside and racked up a school-record 10 career sacks and 16 tackles for loss. At his March 26 pro day, Bilukidi ran a 5.03-second 40-yard dash and lifted 225 pounds 25 times.

04/30/2012 - What sixth-round pick Christo Bilukidi lacks in football experience, he thinks he made up for in world experience. The son of an Angolan diplomat, Bilukidi was born in Angola and has lived in France and Brazil before settling in Ottawa. He speaks fluent French. Bilukidi wouldn't have done it any other way. "It made me cultured because I lived in so many different cities and countries and stuff, Bilukidi said. "It definitely opens my mind more, because I learn more about different people. It makes me more humble and makes me appreciate people far more than if someone who just lived in a small city and didn't know what was going on around the world." - The Sports Xchange
