Player Overview

Pena didn't score a coveted invitation to the Scouting Combine, but he did get good exposure to NFL scouts on-hand at the Raycom College Football All-Star Classic in January.

Pena arrived at Ole Miss following a first-team All-Northeast Conference season for ASA College and had two years of eligibility remaining. He played in 10 games, recording 11 tackles, in 2011 and emerged as a six-game starter at nose tackle last season while seeing action in every game.

He was an integral part of an Ole Miss defense that improved from last in the SEC in defending the run in 2011 to allowing 133.33 yards per game in 2012, good for sixth in the country.

Pena also worked out at the Rebels' pro day, showing decent strength with 23 reps on the 225-pound bench press.
