Player Overview

Quarterback Ryan Nassib had a lock on the Syracuse starting quarterback job from 2010-12 and left the Orange with school records for career passing yards and completions. But after his departure, Scott Shafer's squad has struggled to find consistency at quarterback.

Hunt took over the top spot on the depth chart the past two seasons, but has been a more impressive runner than passer and missed most of the 2014 season with a broken leg. He returns healthy for his senior year at Syracuse and one final season to prove he has next level skills.

Strengths Weaknesses

Hunt has more rushing touchdowns (13) and interceptions (12) than passing scores (11) over his career and with only 60 percent completions at Syracuse, his downfield accuracy has not been a strength. The consistency as a passer just hasn't been there, but with his size/athleticism profile, Hunt could be tabbed as a developmental option if he shows improvements in 2015.
