Strengths Weaknesses

Barnett is a physical tone-setter on the KSU defense with his aggressive and rangy skill-set. He is also one of the team leaders and was voted one of the team captains for 2015 for the second straight year.

--Dane Brugler (6/3/15)

10/28/2014 - OCT 27 BIG 12 DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Dante Barnett, K-State, S, Jr, Tulsa, Okla.,...Dante Barnett recorded four pass break-ups and seven tackles in No. 11/11 K-State's 23-0 win over Texas. It was the first home conference shutout for a K-State team since 1999 and marked the first time in 10 seasons that a Texas team had been held scoreless. The four passes defended were a season-high by a Wildcat and a career-best for Barnett. For the season, he has six passes broken up, one away from tying his high for a season. - Big 12 football
