Strengths Weaknesses

Thomas plays mostly off and bail techniques, dropping off the snap in zone and reading the quarterback. He plays with good field speed and looks to disrupt receivers in their routes, but needs to tweak his transition technique to better play on his toes and explode to the catch point. Thomas isn't a surefire draft pick, but he has traits that make him worth watching in 2015.

Player Overview

The Longhorns must replace a pair of draft picks (Quandre Diggs, Mykkele Thompson) in the secondary, but the return of Thomas gives Texas a veteran presence at defensive back. He had a team-best 13 passes defended in 2014 and finished second on the team with three interceptions for the second straight year.
