Strengths Weaknesses

STRENGTHS: He extends well off the snap and uses his long arms to generate push with his upper body, displaying nonstop effort to motor through blockers.

WEAKNESSES: Tapper is asked to play mostly contain for the Sooners and offers little creativity as a pass rusher with average coordination and limited closing burst.

IN OUR VIEW: He won't make much of an impact on the stat sheet (three sacks in 2014), but he has NFL-level skills as a strong-side defensive end prospect.

Player Overview

A five-technique defensive end in Oklahoma's multiple defensive front, Tapper is easy to spot on film because he's usually the only player in a four-point stance.
