Strengths Weaknesses

STRENGTHS: Shows lateral agility and surprising balance for a back with his high-cut frame. Impressive power for his build, consistently generating yardage after contact. Keeps his legs churning and spins out of tackles, falling forward to rack up extra yards.

His acceleration comes naturally. His mother was a standout sprinter at UCLA and he ran for the BYU track team in 2014.

11/05/2014 - BYU loses RB Williams for season...BYU running back Jamaal Williams will miss the final three games of the season after suffering knee injuries Saturday. Williams will undergo surgery Tuesday, coach Bronco Mendenhall said. Williams was hurt in the third quarter of BYU's 27-7 victory over Middle Tennessee when he was hit while catching a pass. Williams, a junior, was BYU's leading rusher with 518 yards. He joins quarterback Taysom Hill on the sideline. Hill has been out for the season since suffering a broken leg last month against Utah State. BYU (5-4) needs one win to secure a spot in the Miami Beach Bowl. The Cougars finish with UNLV, Savannah State and California. - The Sports Xchange
