Player Overview

Taliaferro was a second-team FCS All-American selection after being named the Big South Offensive Player of the Week a record five times in 2013. In the process, he set nearly every school single-season rushing record with 1,487 rushing yards, 123.9 rushing yards per game, 23 rushing touchdowns, 150 points responsible for and 133.3 all-purpose yards per game.

That performance scored Taliaferro an invitation to the scouting combine in February, where he posted a 4.58-second 40-yard dash.

Strengths Weaknesses

STRENGTHS: Excellent size at 6-0, 230, and extremely productive college career. Finished among the best of all running backs at the combine with a 6.88-second 3-cone drill to go along with a solid clocking of 4.58 seconds in the 40-yard dash. Could carve out a role as a short-yardage specialist who finishes his runs falling forward. Not shy about contact in providing pass protection.

WEAKNESSES: Comes out of a smaller program and may find the jump to the NFL difficult. Lacks elite home run gear, and most of his production came in a spread offense. Will need to make his early mark on special teams to grab a roster spot.
