Mock Draft Expert Analysis

  • Denver Broncos | #27
With Aqib Talib, Chris Harris, Jr., and Bradley Roby, the Broncos possess arguably the league's top trio at cornerback. Big contracts and Talib's propensity for trouble off the field, however, could push John Elway to consider taking advantage of this year's strong cornerback class. White is a fluid athlete with the loose hips and light feet to make an impact in coverage and on special teams.

  • Philadelphia Eagles | #14
I can't see how they don't go corner with their first pick. It's such a glaring need. White would be a first-day starter in their defense.
  • Pittsburgh Steelers | #30
Not necessarily a position of need, but still a pick that helps the Steelers improve a young defense that?s only getting better over the last two years. Depth at corner will give Keith Butler some room to play and at least an excuse for covering Chris Hogan.

Player Overview

LSU has a rich recent history of producing NFL-level cornerbacks and White is next on the list to go from Baton Rouge to the pros. White started 24 total games his first two years in Baton Rouge, including all 13 games in 2014, finishing tied for the team lead with two interceptions.

Strengths Weaknesses

He isn't quite as big as Jalen Collins and isn't the fastest player on the LSU roster, but he has the foot quickness and fluid athleticism to blanket receivers on the outside, using his instincts and ballskills to disrupt the catch point. White will take some unnecessary chances and fall victim to coverage lapses, but his football future is bright.
