With 6:40 remaining in the second quarter, on 3rd-&-7 from the Wake Forest 23-yard line, Demon Deacon quarterback Riley Skinner completed a short pass to wide receiver D.J. Boldin, who was stripped of the ball by Barnes but was able to recover it at the Wake Forest 33-yard line for a first down.
