Was the starting center for the third straight season when he was lost to a broken leg in the third game of the season.

Started all 13 games in the middle of the Cowboy offensive line … OSU showed improvement all season up front and ended the season No. 16 nationally in total offense and No. 7 in scoring and seventh in rushing … Four times was tabbed as OSU's lineman of the week by the coaching staff.

Washington anchored the offensive line as he started all 11 games at center during his redshirt freshman season.

Was a big part of a Guthrie High School team that rolled to the Class 5A state championship in 2002 and returned to the playoffs in 2003 … All-state by The Oklahoman as well as the Oklahoma Coaches Association as a senior … Also listed as a first-team all-Big City selection after being honorable mention all-Big City as a junior … All-district selection … Washington chose the Cowboys over Colorado State.
