04/17/2013 - 2013 NFL DRAFT: 124 FBS PROGRAMS, 124 POSSIBLE UNDRAFTED ROOKIE FREE AGENTS: NORTH CAROLINA: WR Jheranie Boyd (6-1, 187, 4.43)...Boyd was expected to take a big leap forward as a senior, but he battled a leg injury most of 2012 and finished his senior season with only four catches and one score. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com

04/08/2013 - 2013 North Carolina Pro Day: Jheranie Boyd, WR (6-1 1/8, 187) - Boyd - who was not at the combine - ran the 40 in 4.45 seconds against the wind and 4.43 seconds with the wind. He had a 42-inch vertical jump and an 11-foot broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.44 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.03 seconds. He also had 14 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press. Boyd didn't really produce much at North Carolina, but is the sort of size-speed guy that NFL teams look for. That dimension could give Boyd a shot as a rookie free-agent pickup following the draft. - Gil Brandt, NFL.com

03/29/2013 - 2013 North Carolina Pro Day: Speaking of players with the raw athleticism to develop, wide receiver Jheranie Boyd only caught four passes for 44 yards and one score in 2012, but he may have earned himself a chance at making an NFL roster as an undrafted free agent with a dazzling workout.

The 6-1 1/8, 187-pound Boyd was clocked in the mid 4.4s and registered a 41.5-inch vertical jump that bystanders believe may have actually been higher. Boyd, according to UNC officials, touched the highest level of the measuring device. This would have tied Southern Miss linebacker Jamie Collins for the second-highest vertical recorded by any player in Indianapolis in 2012. Texas A&M running back Christine Michael led all participants with a 43-inch vertical jump.

Boyd also registered an 11-0 broad jump, which would have tied him with Texas' Marquise Goodwin and Tennessee Tech's Da'Rick Rogers for the second-best broad jump among receivers tested this year in Indianapolis. Tennessee's Justin Hunter recorded an eye-popping 11-4 broad jump to lead all receivers, and the freakishly athletic Collins, all 6-3, 250 pounds of him, led all participants with an 11-7 effort. - Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com

10/15/2012 - WR Jerhanie Boyd, coming off a 5 TD reception performance last year, is still suffering from a leg injury that held him out of the past three weeks. He remains questionable for next week against Miami. - College Injury Report

09/06/2012 - Senior WR Jheranie Boyd had a touchdown reception in week 1, giving him 13 TD catches among his 41 career receptions. - The Sports Xchange

07/18/2012 - 2012 BILETNIKOFF AWARD PRESEASON WATCH LIST: Jheranie Boyd, North Carolina, has been selected to the Preseason Biletnikoff Award Watch List for the 2012 college football season, presented to America's top college football wide receiver by The Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, Inc. Boyd, a 6-2 speedster from Gastonia, N.C., caught 14 balls for 292 yards and five touchdowns in 2011. He averaged a team-high 20.9 yards per reception and also carried seven times for 56 yards. - North Carolina football
