08/13/2013 - TOP INDIANA PROSPECTS FOR THE 2014 NFL DRAFT: 2. TE Ted Bolser (6-5, 254, 4.76)...One of the more prolific pass-catching tight ends in Hoosier history, Bolser is the all-time school leader in TD catches at the position (9), and became just the third tight end in school history to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark for career receiving yards (1,017) in 2012. At 6'5, and 250-plus pounds, Bolser possesses ideal size to play at the next level, and exhibits both the blocking ability and natural pass-catching talent to fulfill the array of duties required of a full-time pro tight end.
He's not an eye-popping athlete by any means, as he won't make guys miss after the catch and lacks natural burst out of cuts, but he's sneaky down the seam and displays foot quickness and smarts to fake defenders and create space across the field. Bolser's contributions as a blocker and reliable hands could earn him strong mid-late round consideration next May should he continue to be a top target in the Hoosier offense as a senior. - Derek Stephens, NFLDraftScout.com
