11/11/2013 - TOP 10 SCARIEST PLAYERS IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL: 7. Tevin Reese, Baylor, WR: If you're the fastest of the fast Bears team, you're blazing fast and the 170-pound Reese is. 11/09/2013 - Baylor WR Tevin Reese dislocates wrist, out until bowl...Baylor's big win over Oklahoma has come at a substantial cost, as receiver Tevin Reese will miss at least the rest of the regular season with a wrist injury suffered against the Sooners. Art Briles said in his postgame comments that Reese had dislocated the wrist, per the Express-News, and would be out until at least the Bears' bowl game. The senior left Thursday night's Big 12 showdown without catching a pass and had his arm in a sling on the sidelines during the second half.
Though the presence of players like Antwan Goodley and Levi Norwood in the receiving corps means Reese's absence won't be a backbreaker -- as the Bears proved against the Sooners -- his departure is nonetheless a major blow. Reese's 33 catches and 824 yards both rank second among Bear receivers, only to Goodley, and Reese's eye-popping 24.97 yards-per-reception average leads the nation for receivers with more than 30 catches.
Reese's injury hurts even worse considering that the Sooners were just the first leg of a brutal stretch run for the Bears as they chase a shock BCS Championship berth. Baylor next plays Texas Tech in Arlington, followed by road trips to Oklahoma State and TCU, and then the season finale against Texas. Thursday's result suggests Briles' team still has the firepower to run the table -- but Reese's quality means their margin for error also just got substantially smaller. - Jerry Hinnen, CBSSports.com

08/11/2013 - TOP BAYLOR PROSPECTS FOR THE 2014 NFL DRAFT: 5. WR Tevin Reese (5-10, 172, 4.47)...In regards to the NFL Draft, Baylor might be best known in recent memory for producing RGIII, but the Bears program has also churned out several talented receivers, most recently Kendall Wright and Terrance Williams. And in 2013, Reese will hope to put his name in that same company as an early round NFL prospect. A high school teammate of Lache Seastrunk, Reese is one of the better deep threats in college football, using his build-up speed and route acceleration to create separation and stretch the field. He doesn't look like much with a lean build and limited growth potential, which hurts his ability to break tackles and do much after initial contact.
Reese is a mobile target and "movement" receiver, a player that Briles will often put in motion or use on various screens to get him the ball in space, but scouts will look for him to be more consistent in 2013, specifically with his hands and blocking ability. While doubtful that he'll be able to join Wright and Williams as a top-75 NFL draft pick, a productive senior season will go a long way to helping Reese next spring as he transitions to the next level. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
