03/29/2013 - 2013 Kentucky Pro Day: Larry Warford could hit Kentucky draft milestone...Representatives from 28 NFL teams gathered at Kentucky's pro day on March 21, where 15 players worked out indoors on FieldTurf. The most notable participant was Larry Warford, who has a chance to be the highest-drafted offensive lineman from Kentucky since Dermontti Dawson - a 2012 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee - was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the second round of the 1988 NFL Draft. Warford (6-foot-3 1/8, 329 pounds) stood on his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine. Warford currently stands at No. 45 in my Hot 100 draft prospect rankings. - Gil Brandt, NFL.com

12/16/2012 - 2012 AP ALL-AMERICAN THIRD TEAM: OG - Larry Warford, senior, Kentucky...Warford became the first UK offensive lineman to earn All-America status since Mike Pfeifer (first team by Football News, Mizlou) in 1989 and the first to receive the honor from the AP since Warren Bryant earned second-team honors in 1976. All totaled, Warford is the 12th UK offensive lineman to earn All-America honors in school history.

The native of Richmond, Ky., ended his UK career having played in 47 games with 37 consecutive starts. The senior was named SEC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week after UK's win over Kent State, handling blocking responsibilities on KSU's star lineman Roosevelt Nix. In the game, Warford collected eight knockdown blocks and graded out at 91.7 percent while limiting Nix to only two assisted tackles. - Kentucky football

12/14/2012 - University of Kentucky offensive lineman Larry Warford has been chosen to play in the Senior Bowl. The game will be played Jan. 26 at 4 p.m. in Mobile, Ala. It will be televised by the NFL Network. Warford is the first UK player to be selected for the Senior Bowl since Derrick Locke in 2010. - The Lexington Herald Leader

12/08/2012 - 2012 ALL-SEC SECOND TEAM (COACHES): OL - Larry Warford, Kentucky, has been selected Second Team All-Southeastern Conference (Coaches selection) for the 2012 college football season. This is the fourth honor Warford has received from league coaches during his time at Kentucky. Warford was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2009, followed by selections to the All-SEC second team each of the past two seasons. Warford is the first UK offensive lineman to earn All-SEC honors by league coaches three times. Kentucky has had at least one All-SEC second-team selection by league coaches every year through 1997. Warford was named second-team All-SEC by the Associated Press on Monday.

Warford received high praise throughout the season from the UK coaching staff for playing with amazing skill up front. He did not allow a quarterback sack all year, grading at 90.3 percent for the season and totaling 48 knockdown blocks.

12/08/2012 - 2012 ALL-SEC SECOND TEAM (MEDIA): OL - Larry Warford, Kentucky, Sr., has been selected Second Team All-Southeastern Conference (Media selection) for the 2012 college football season. Warford began the season on the Outland Trophy and Lombardi Trophy Watch Lists, while he was chosen as a first-team midseason All-SEC selection by Phil Steele's College Football. Warford led the UK offensive line being named game captain five times throughout the season.
