04/17/2013 - 2013 Idaho Pro Day: Bobby Cowan can stretch Idaho's draft streak to six years...Representatives from nine NFL teams gathered at Idaho's pro day on March 7 for a workout held outdoors on FieldTurf in 33-degree temperatures. Bobby Cowan, punter (6-foot-4 1/2, 220 pounds) - Cowan stood on his numbers from the NFL Scouting Combine, and did a positional workout that was seen by a special teams coach from the Philadelphia Eagles. 12/05/2012 - 2012 ALL-WAC SECOND TEAM (COACHES): P-Bobby Cowan, Sr., Idaho, has been selected Second Team All-Western Athletic Conference (Coaches selection) for the 2012 college football season. Cowan etched his name in the Vandal record books and was a 2011 Football Writers Association of America All-American. He is the career punting average leader (44.7) as well as the record-holder for career punts (259) and career punting yards (11,570). He also has the single-season mark for punting yards (4,084 in 2011) after tying the record for single-season punts (88 in 2011). - Idaho football

07/11/2012 - 2012 RAY GUY AWARD PRESEASON WATCH LIST: Bobby Cowan (Sr.), Idaho, has been selected to the preseason watch list for the 2012 Ray Guy Award, which honors the nation's top collegiate punter. Cowan is one of nine 2011 Ray Guy Award semifinalists to be on the 2012 watch list. Cowan was a 2011 Football writers association of American All-American, a second-team all-WAC selection and Idaho special teams Player of the Year. He ranked second in the nation in punting average with 46.41 yards per punt. He punted for 4,084 yards on 88 kids, and had two punts of over 70 yards, including a 76-yarder. Cowan is one of three punters from the Western Athletic Conference to be selected to the list, along with Utah State's Tyler Bennett and Louisiana Tech's Ryan Allen, who won the award in 2011. - Idaho football
