05/13/2014 - 2014 NFL DRAFT BEST VALUE PICK: KANSAS CITY CHIEFS: Round 6/200 -- Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, T, 6-5, 321, McGill (Canada)...LDT was a mystery to the Chiefs before last January's East-West Shrine Game. That is where the guy that goes by the Americanized name of Larry caught the eye of NFL scouts with his athletic ability, especially his quickness, speed and flexibility for someone his size. Due to the competition level in Canadian colleges, just how high he can rise in the NFL is in doubt, so he is considered a project. However, given that Duvernay-Tardif is in his third year of medical school in Montreal, he won't be held back by being unable to handle the mental side of the game. - The Sports Xchange

05/12/2014 - A closer look at the Chiefs' picks: Round 6/200 - Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, T, 6-5, 321, McGill (Canada)...LDT was a mystery to the Chiefs before last January's East-West Shrine Game. That's where the guy that goes by the Americanized name of Larry caught the eye of NFL scouts with his athletic ability, especially his quickness, speed and flexibility for someone standing 6-5, 321 pounds. Due to the competition level in the Canadian colleges, just how high LDT can rise in the NFL is in doubt and thus he's considered a project. But given he's in his third year of medical school in Montreal, he won't be held back by being unable to handle the mental side of the game. - The Sports Xchange

05/07/2014 - Five players who should be on the Jacksonville Jaguars' draft radar...OT Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, McGill: With 11 picks the Jaguars can afford to gamble on athletic upside and the potential Canadian import certainly boasts that. He signed with McGill as a 250-pound defensive lineman and only made the transition to the other side of the line of scrimmage two years ago. The 6-foot-5, 298-pounder is light on his feet (reportedly ran a 4.98 at his Pro Day) and is a balanced and coordinated athlete. He is also an aggressive, physical run blocker. With a year or so to acclimate, Duvernay-Tardif could develop into a legitimate starting right tackle. - Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout.com
