12/29/2010 - PLAYERS TO WATCH: Scouting the pass defense: Baylor ranks 114th nationally in stopping the pass, allowing 267 yards through the air. Good news is that the passing game isn't exactly the bread-and-butter of the Fighting Illini. Redshirt freshman QB Nathan Scheelhaase primarily throws the ball to WR A.J. Jenkins, who has 50 receptions for 694 yards and seven touchdowns. WR Jarred Fayson has 34 catches this year for 324 yards and a touchdown. Baylor had trouble defending the spreads of Texas Tech and Oklahoma State, but Illinois won't challenge the Bears in that way. - The Sports Xchange
