2004 Season

Played in two games before suffering a knee injury in practice and redshirting the season. Registered 12 tackles (four solo) against Florida A&M (9/11), the ninth double-figure tackle game of his career. Also had six tackles in the opener against Mississippi State (9/4).

2003 Season

Earned Second Team All-Conference USA and All-Louisiana honors after leading the Green Wave with a career-high 133 tackles (74 solo) which ranked sixth in Conference USA. His four forced fumbles (0.33 per game) ranked third in C-USA while his six pass break-ups was tied for second on the team. Led the squad in tackles five times, tying his season and career-high with 15 tackles at Southern Miss (11/15). Recorded double-digit tackle figures seven times and had a hand in nine turnovers (3 INTs, 4 FF, 2 FR). Earned C-USA Player of the Week honors after the Mississippi State win (9/13) with 12 stops, a fumble forced, a fumble recovered and a pass break-up. Grabbed two interceptions versus Army when he also broke up two passes. His other interception came against TCU (9/1). Forced a pair of fumbles in the Northwestern State victory (9/6) when he also had 13 tackles.

2002 Season

Started the first three games of the season at strong safety. Ranked 10th on the team with 57 tackles (33 solo) and recorded at least two tackles in every game. Led the team and posted a season-high 11 tackles (nine solo) against Houston (9/2). Tallied interceptions against Memphis (9/21) and UAB (10/19), returning the Memphis pickoff 29 yards. Brought the UAB INT back seven yards before lateralling to Sean Lucas, who took it the rest of the way for a touchdown. Also rushed for three yards and a first down on a fake punt against Memphis. Earned special teams player of the game award versus Southern and was the co-Defensive Player of the Game versus Houston.

2001 Season

Earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors after playing in all 12 games and starting seven as a true freshman. Ranked sixth on the team in tackles with 60 (42 solo), including three tackles for loss. Also forced three fumbles, second on the team. Tallied a career-best 10 tackles with his first career sack and a forced fumble against UCF (9/22). Had a 25-yard interception return for a touchdown, seven tackles, two pass deflections and a forced fumble in the Wave's win over TCU (10/13).

High School

Three-year starter at quarterback. Named to the 2000 All-Metro Atlanta team. One of the 2000 DeKalb County Super Eleven. Member of the All-DeKalb County team as a junior in 1999. Career totals included 2,580 yards passing and 1,680 yards rushing with 54 total touchdowns (23 passing, 31 rushing) and just 12 interceptions. As a senior, passed for a career-high 1,050 yards and nine touchdowns. Rushed for 600 yards and 11 scores. Coached by William "Buck" Godfrey.


Trawick Jerome Boger. Born July 25, 1983 in Atlanta, Ga. The son of Janice and Jerome Boger. Majoring in sociology at Tulane after qualifying for the honor roll in each semester of high school. His father was a four-year football starter at Morehouse College, while his uncle, Lennard Robinson, played for Howard University.
