A 2005 graduate of Immokalee HS … Helped the Indians to an 11-2 final record and 2A Florida state championship as IHS downed Madison County 17-15 in Gainesville on Dec. 10, 2004 … Named 2A first team all-state by the Florida Sports Writers Association as a wide receiver for coach John Weber … Averaged 24.3 yards per catch and added 89 tackles, including 42 solo stops, as a defensive back … Recorded nine tackles, recovered a fumble and had one sack in the title game … Also a basketball player for the Indians … An honor roll student who carried a 4.5 GPA and earned the Orange Bowl Committee Scholar-Athlete Award for his team at the championships.
