Played in all 12 games in 2007 and started 10 games. Tied for second on the team with four sacks while posting 20 tackles (16 solo, four assists) and five tackles for lost yardage. 12/10/2009 - 2009 ALL-CONFERENCE USA HONORABLE MENTION (COACHES): DL- Adam Kwentua, Jr., Tulane, has been selected All-Conference USA Honorable Mention for the 2009 college football season as voted on by the Conference USA head coaches. Kwentua is a 6-3, 251-pound defensive end from Baton Rouge, La., who started all 12 games in 2009 and tied for the team lead in fumble recoveries (1) and was tied for second in interceptions (1), while ranking sixth overall with 43 tackles (23 solo, 20 assists) and tied for 10th in tackles for loss (1.5-4). His best game came at home against No. 23 Houston when he posted a season-high seven tackles, while his first career interception came off of LSU's Jordan Jefferson in the first quarter of that game. - Tulane football
