2006 Season

As a senior, named to LSWA 2A All-State and Baton Rouge Advocate 3A-2A-1A All-Metro teams at linebacker after posting 93 tackles (46 solo) … earned first team all-district honors at linebacker and tight end … tallied 12 tackles for loss, three sacks and five pass break ups as a senior … selected as his team's Top Defensive Player and earned Most Improved honors … also recevied the Defensive Coaches' Award … member of the Academic All-State team … played defensive end as a junior and sophomore before moving to linebacker as a senior … team advanced to the second round of the playoffs in 2005 … played basketball as a junior and picked up second team all-district honors.

12/10/2009 - 2009 ALL-CONFERENCE USA HONORABLE MENTION (COACHES): DL- Adam Kwentua, Jr., Tulane, has been selected All-Conference USA Honorable Mention for the 2009 college football season as voted on by the Conference USA head coaches. Kwentua is a 6-3, 251-pound defensive end from Baton Rouge, La., who started all 12 games in 2009 and tied for the team lead in fumble recoveries (1) and was tied for second in interceptions (1), while ranking sixth overall with 43 tackles (23 solo, 20 assists) and tied for 10th in tackles for loss (1.5-4). His best game came at home against No. 23 Houston when he posted a season-high seven tackles, while his first career interception came off of LSU's Jordan Jefferson in the first quarter of that game. - Tulane football
