2006 Season

Alston was named first-team All-MAC for the second consecutive season. He ranks fifth in UT history with 20.5 career sacks and eighth with 36.5 career tackles for loss. This season he led the team and was seventh in MAC in sacks (7.0), and led the team and was third in MAC in tackles for loss (17.0). He was fourth on Rockets with 65 tackles.

2005 Season

First-team All-MAC selection … Ranked third in the MAC in sacks (9.5) and 10th in tackles for loss (12.5) … Named Defensive MVP of the GMAC Bowl … Had career-best three sacks in Toledo's 45-13 bowl victory over UTEP, including one at the end of the first half that knocked the Miners out of field goal range … Also had three tackles for loss and two sacks vs. EMU … Tied for fifth on team with 59 tackles.

2004 Season

Played in 11 games as a back-up linebacker … Ninth on the team with 50 tackles … Season-high nine tackles vs. Temple … Had at least five tackles on five occasions.

2003 Season

Played in nine games, making 10 tackles … Played on special teams and as a back-up linebacker.

Named first-team all-city twice and second-team all-district once … Played in the Ohio North-South All-Star game … Played tailback and linebacker … Had 100 tackles, including seven sacks and 14 tackles for loss as a senior … Rushed for 1,131 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior … Played for coach Tom Dunlap … Also earned four letters in track.
