2007 Season

Junior-college transfer who played in 10 games, making three starts. Caught nine passes for 75 yards, with one touchdown. Scored a touchdown in his fourth collegiate game after making his first start in the Orange Bowl. 9/1 vs. Marshall: Played as a reserve wide receiver in his first game, making one reception for 12 yards. 9/8 at Oklahoma: Did not play. 9/15 vs. Florida International: Played as a reserve wide receiver (no catches). 9/20 vs. Texas A&M: Played as a reserve wide receiver (no catches). 9/29 vs. Duke: Recorded the first start of his career and concluded the game's opening drive with his first career touchdown on his second career catch. Led the team with six receptions for 46 yards. However, he later suffered a groin injury that would slow him for the next few games. 10/6 at North Carolina: Started in a three-wide receiver formation but did not have any receptions. 10/13 vs. Georgia Tech: Played as a reserve wideout (no catches). 10/20 at Florida State: Started and caught one pass for nine yards. 11/3 vs. North Carolina State: Played as a reserve (no catches). 11/10 vs. Virginia: Played as a reserve wideout (no receptions). 11/17 at Virginia Tech: Did not play. 11/24 at Boston College: Caught one pass for eight yards as a reserve.

2006 Season

Literally came out of nowhere to emerge as a top JUCO prospect … In 2006, caught 51 passes for 904 yards and nine touchdowns … Was the MVP of the state championship game in California, scoring three touchdowns in the second quarter three different ways (reverse, kickoff return and reception) … Rated the No. 5 JUCO player by SuperPrep.

2005 Season

Became a starter after catching five passes for 120 yards and a touchdown in his team's first preseason scrimmage in 2005 … Earned All-Conference honors as a freshman after catching 23 passes for more than 500 yards with six touchdowns … Also returned a punt 60 yards for a TD and scored on a reverse.

High School

Did not play high school football because he had to take care of his sister while his mother worked … Was "discovered" at a church football camp by a friend who had ties to El Camino J.C.
