Handled some of the kickoffs for the Buckeyes throughout the season before taking on the placekicking duties after an injury to Aaron Pettrey … saw substantial action against New Mexico State with the injury to Pettrey … had a 29- yard field goal, three PAT and five kickoffs vs. the Aggies … 37-yard field goal and 3 PAT at Penn State … hit game-winning field goal from 39 yards in overtime to defeat Iowa … three made field goals in Rose Bowl from 19, 20 and 38 yards … special teams player of week: Iowa … first-year letterwinner.

High School

Member of the U.S. U-18, U-20 and U-23 national teams in soccer … USA Today player of the year and Parade All-America in soccer at McDonogh High.


Son of David and Elizabeth Barclay … has a brother, Colin … dad was a soccer All-American at Kenyon … played Major League Soccer from 2001-05, as a member of Tampa Bay Mutiny, San Jose Earthquakes, D.C. United and Columbus Crew … majoring in sport and leisure studies at Ohio State … 2009 Big Ten all-academic.
