2008 Season

Haynes was named Tech's defensive back of the year in 2008. He posted 39 tackles and a team-high 11 pass breakups … Haynes earned his All-GLIAC accolade as a return specialist. The senior played on nearly all of Tech's special teams units. He led the league in kickoff returns with a 20.9 yards per return average. Haynes also started all 11 games at cornerback where he was credited with four interceptions and 39 tackles.

2007 Season

Started all 11 games as the team's primary kick returner and split time at cornerback … Posted second-most kick return yards in the GLIAC with 778 … Averaged a league sixth-best 21.0 yards per kick return … Posted 37 tackles on the season including 30 solos … Returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown and recovered a fumble vs. Indianapolis (9/8) … Had a career-high eight tackles at Hillsdale (9/29).

2006 Season

Earned All-GLIAC Honorable Mention … Awarded Daniel Dopp Award as team's special teams player of the year … Finished second in the GLIAC in kickoff returns with an average of 26.5 yards per return … Played in all 10 games … Registered 29 tackles and two interceptions as a cornerback … Had a season-high six tackles at Indianapolis (9/9).

2005 Season

Was a regular in the defensive backfield and started all nine games as a kick returner … Recorded 17 tackles including 11 solos during the season … Notched a season-high four tackles vs. Ferris State … Averaged 25.0 yards on eight kickoff returns during the season.

2004 Season

Redshirted … Named Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year.
