12/31/2011 - Scouting the Texas A&M run defense: Typically A&M is sound in its 3-4 alignment, though the statistics are somewhat skewed. The Aggies recorded a Big 12-best 43 sacks, which incurred 278 yards in losses. That helped with their No. 2 ranking in rush defense, allowing 106 yards on average. Still, they permitted 22 rushing touchdowns, which contributed to far too many failures in the red zone. LB Jonathan Stewart was solid in the middle of the A&M defense. - The Sports Xchange
