Latest News
05/22/2009 - The list just keeps getting longer. After QB Steve Threet endured his second transfer to leave Michigan University, along with a laundry list of transfers after Michigan's 3-9 campaign, offensive lineman Kurt Wermers is the newest Wolverine to leave from Rich Rodriguez's regime. In addition to Wermers, coach Rodriguez said that a few more players may be leaving the program in the next few days. The most likely of those Wolverines to be leaving the team is RB Kevin Grady who violated his probation recently, resulting in a seven-day stay in a jail cell. News should be out about those leaving the team soon, so keep reading The Game this week for more updates. In other news, recent transfer Toney Clemons has decided to release news of his transfer to the Daily sometime this week and also share reasons for his transfer. Maybe we'll even get a better understanding why an unprecedented amount of people are leaving. - Ryan Kartje, Michigan Daily
