2006 Season

Appeared in six games … went 17-of-18 on PATs and 6-of-6 on FGs … scored 35 points and averaged 5.8 ppg … made his first collegiate field goal attempt from 22 yards out at No. 17 Nebraska with 23 seconds left to win the game (22-20) … earned Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week honors … was 5-of-5 on PATs at Texas Tech … against Oklahome State, was 3-of-3 on FGs and 3-of-4 on PAT attempts … converted 6-of-6 PATs at Kansas State … was 1-of-1 on PATs against Texas A&M … went 2-of-2 on FGs, including a career-long 43-yarder, and 2-of-2 on PATs in the Alamo Bowl against Iowa.

2005 Season

Gained valuable experience as a place-kicker and punter on the squad team.

High School

Coached by Trent Gregory at Anderson H.S. … a two-year letterman … named first-team all-district 16-5A as a punter and second-team as a place-kicker as a senior … averaged 40 yards per punt that season … also connected on 6-of-7 FGs and 23-of-24 PATs that year with his only miss coming on a block … tabbed first-team all-district 26-4A as both a punter and kicker as a junior … a three-time first-team academic all-district selection and member of the National Honor Society … also played baseball as a junior and senior.
