2012 Season
Stoneburner was big, fast and strong with outstanding pass-catching abilities for Ohio State between 2009-12 ... he played tight end his first three seasons and before moving to an H-back/wide receiver role in coach Urban Meyer's spread offense in 2012 ... Jake had 37 receptions for 445 yards and nine touchdowns as a tight end ... his touchdown total is second among Ohio State tight ends ... he added 16 receptions for 269 yards and four touchdowns in 2012 from the H-back position to close his career with fine totals of 53 receptions for 714 yards and 13 touchdowns ... included was a game-deciding, 72-yard touchdown catch and run in the fourth quarter of the 25-23 win at Penn State ... Jake played in 48 games played and made 23 starts ... he was named to the watch list for the John Mackey Award as a senior.
2011 Season
Led the team (along with two others) with 14 receptions this season, half of which went for touchdowns, and he earned honorable mention all-Big Ten Conference honors by the league's head coaches and media ... his seven touchdown receptions ranked fourth nationally among tight ends.

He had eight receptions and four scores in the team's first two games of the season, including three touchdown catches vs. Akron ... he also scored TDs vs. Toldeo, Nebraska - on a sweet, 32-yard screen pass - Illinois and Penn State.

2010 Season
Caught 21 passes for 222 yards (10.6 avg.) as a sophomore in 2010 ... caught a three-yard touchdown pass to cap the Buckeyes 38-14 win over Penn State ... had a career-best five catches and a career-high 61 receiving yards, plus a five-yard touchdown, in the win over Ohio ... left Eastern Michigan game with an ankle sprain and did not play against Illinois and Indiana.
2009 Season
Played in all 13 games in 2009 as a back-up to Jake Ballard ... caught his first collegiate pass - a 17-yarder - in the season opener against Navy.
