01/02/2013 - University of Connecticut football seniors Jory Johnson (Mobile, Ala.) and Michael Smith (Houston, Texas) have accepted invitations to participate in select all-star games in the coming weeks. Johnson, an outside linebacker that started all 12 games this season for the Huskies, will play in the Raycom College Football All-Star Classic at the Crampton Bowl in his home state in Montgomery, Ala. The game is scheduled for 2:00 pm CT on Saturday, January 19 and will be broadcast live on the CBS Sports Network.
