Player News
05/12/2014 - After years of dodging players with character questions - having been burned by the Pacman Jones fiasco - the Titans took a couple of players with police blotter incidents on their record. First-round pick Taylor Lewan is facing three assault charges stemming from an alleged incident involving Ohio State fans and also had his name brought up in comments that he threatened a woman, though no charges were ever filed. Lewan faced the matters head on in meeting with the media after being taken 11th overall. "The thing is I explained to them everything and told them the truth," Lewan said of talking to the Titans.

As for the threat incident, Lewan said, "There is a way you need to act on the field and there is a way you need to act off the field and there is a time and a place for everything. ... Off the field I'm not the guy I'm perceived to be. I like to not only represent myself, but the Tennessee Titans in a positive manner." - The Sports Xchange
