He was named to the Capital One District VI Academic All-America team for the second straight year in 2012 and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors four straight years.

04/17/2013 - 2013 Iowa Pro Day: James Vandenberg, QB (6-2 7/8, 224) - Vandenberg had a 34-inch vertical, a 9-foot-7 broad jump and a 4.33-second short shuttle.
