2010 Season
Named to the 2010 All-MAC First Team Offense. The Huskies offense averages 445.9 yards of total offense a game, while their 264.8 rushing yards also tops the league. Northern Illinois is also first in the league in sacks allowed with only 13 in all 13 games. Started at center against Miami (Ohio) in the 2010 MAC Championship game (12-3). Key member of the MAC's top offensive unit that helped rack up 646 yards of total offense which tied for fourth all-time at NIU and gained the second most rushing yards in school history with 544 at Eastern Michigan (11-26). Helped lead NIU to 584 yards of total offense and a game-high 422 rushing yards against Toledo (11-9). Named NIU's Offensive Lineman of the Week after helping lead NIU to a game-high 420 offensive yards against Temple (10-9). Helped lead NIU to a game-high 520 offensive yards against Akron (10-2). Member of the offensive line that paved the way for Chad Spann's career-high 223 yards rushing and a team total of 297 yards on the ground at Minnesota (9-25). Helped lead the NIU offense to a game-high 390 yards against Illinois (9-18) and a game-high 364 yards in his second career start at center against North Dakota (9-11). Named NIU's Offensive Linemen of the week after helping lead the NIU rushing attack to a game-high 156 yards in his first career start for the Huskies at center against Iowa State (9-2).

Saw action in 11 games, primarily as a backup center and on special teams. Had one kick return for six yards against Ohio (11-21). Appeared in games against Western Illinois (9-12). Purdue (9-19), Idaho (9-26), Western Michigan (10-3), Toledo (10-17), Miami (10-24), Eastern Michigan (11-5), Ball State (11-12), Central Michigan (11-27) and South Florida (1-3).
2008 Season
Played in four games as a reserve offensive lineman, mainly on the FG/PAT team. Saw time against Indiana State (9-20), Eastern Michigan (9-27), Toledo (10-18) and Kent State (11-18).

07/16/2011 - RIMINGTON TROPHY PRESEASON WATCH LIST: Scott Wedige, Northern Illinois, has been named one of 43 players selected to the 2011 Preseason Rimington Trophy Watch List, given annually to the the Most Outstanding Center in NCAA Division I-A College Football. Wedige anchored the Northern Illinois offensive line from his center position in his first season as a starter a year ago and helped lead the way to Chad Spann's record-breaking touchdown-scoring campaign. The Huskies offense led the MAC in total offense a year ago and NIU's per carry rushing average of 6.3 (by all rushers) led the country.
