2011 Season
Egnew was a first-team All-Big 12 selection at tight end after reeling in 50 catches for 523 yards and three touchdowns in 2011. He was the Tigers' second-leading receiver in terms of both catches and yards and averaged just over 40 yards a game. He enjoyed his best outing of the year against Baylor, posting 12 receptions against the Bears and had a 105-yard receiving effort on six catches against Iowa State. The two-year starter hauled in 147 receptions for 1,332 yards and eight touchdowns in 26 career starts for the Tigers.
2010 Season
Won consensus 1st-Team All-American honors, first-team All-Big 12 accolades and Missouri team MVP as he burst onto the scene by leading all the nation's tight ends with 90 receptions for 762 yards and 5 touchdowns - all coming after he caught a combined 7 passes for 47 yards in his first two seasons as a Tiger ... Ranked third in the Big 12 and 10th in the nation with 6.92 receptions per game ... His 90 catches on the year ranked third on MU's single-season receptions list and tied him with Chase Coffman for the MU season record for tight ends ... Made 10 receptions for 60 yards against Illinois in his first career start ... Scored the first touchdown of his career on a six-yard pass from Blaine Gabbert in the fourth quarter in MU's comeback win over the Illini ... Had six catches in the home opener against McNeese State for 52 yards ... That included a career-long 29-yard reception ... Set a new career high with 13 receptions against San Diego State ... 2009 Season
Saw action in all 13 games and caught 3 passes for 25 yards on the season ... Played mostly at tight end, but later in the year, his versatility allowed him to line up at different receiver spots in certain offensive sets ... Had a six-yard reception in the opening game of the year against Illinois ... made a catch for 8 yards against Furman ... Caught an 11-yard pass against Iowa State on Nov. 21 ... Suffered a high ankle sprain late in spring camp that was fixed surgically, which forced him to miss the spring game, but the procedure got him healthy in time for the summer ... Was impressive enough prior to the setback to be named the team's Most Improved Tight End at the spring game.
2008 Season
Earned playing time as a true freshman and saw action in 13 games at the tight end spot ... Ended the year with 4 catches for 22 yards ... Caught 2 passes for 11 yards each in games against Southeast Missouri State and again against Iowa State, when he helped the Tigers wrap up their second consecutive Big 12 North Division championship ... Also spent considerable time on the Tiger kickoff return unit as part of the front line, and was also part of the hands team that defended onside kick attempts.

A two-time All-District wideout who was named an all-midwest region wide receiver by PrepStar ... Served as a team captain in 2007, and turned in 34 receptions for 587 yards and 5 TDs on the year, while also rushing 10 times for 53 yards ...
