Jones was twice named the conference's Special Teams Player of the Week in 2011 and tallied 128 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and two interceptions in his two seasons as a defensive back at ASU.
Jones recorded 74 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, one pass interception and two pass break-ups as a senior. A 2012 Preseason All-Sun Belt pick, he ranked third on the team in total tackles and posted at least seven stops in six games, including a career-high 12 against Western Kentucky.

While with the Red Wolves, Jones rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns on 24 attempts . . . He also recorded 12 receptions for 146 yards and another touchdown.
Played both running back and defensive back at Hazelwood High School before originally signing with A-State in 2008 . . . The state track and field champion in the 100, 200 and 400-meter events, Jones rushed for 1,853 yards and 22 touchdowns his senior campaign.
