08/19/2014 - Other Wake Forest prospects to watch in 2014: CB Merrill Noel...A consensus Freshman All-American and 13-game starter in 2011 after posting 19 passes defensed and two interceptions, Noel has been a solid, though not spectacular contributor since then, starting 18 games over the last two seasons, totaling 9 pass break-ups and three interceptions in that time. Injuries have been a factor, but consistency has also been an issue. Possesses quickness and natural ability to be a contributor from the slot at the next level, and a strong senior season could put him in the draft conversation. - Derek Stephens, NFLDraftScout.com
