Figures to challenge for either starting free safety or strong safety. He impressed in predraft workouts and the combine, especially in the bench press. He had 25 repetitions in the bench at 225 pounds, most for any defensive back at the combine, but also had the second-fastest 40-yard dash time (4.47) and second-fastest shuttle time along safeties.
