Player News
05/12/2014 - The Lions first stumbled onto outside linebacker Keith Van Noy when they were scouting Ziggy Ansah at BYU in 2013. "Yeah, we saw a lot of him playing last year and it was really kind of, 'Who is this guy?'" Mayhew said. "You're watching Ziggy and this guy's making all these plays. He and Ziggy are really great friends too. When I visited with him when he was here, he was telling me how they were roommates together on the road trips and stuff, so I think Ziggy's probably happy wherever he is right now. But this guy is going to really help our football team." Van Noy is 6-3, 243 pounds, with 4.71-second speed in 40 yards and a 78-inch wing span. He created quite a bit of mayhem during his time at BYU. He made a school record 62 tackles for loss and 26 sacks. He posted seven interceptions, 17 pass breakups and scored seven defensive touchdowns. He also blocked two punts. - The Sports Xchange
