Silatolu (pronounced Sill-uh-TOE-lou), Midwestern State's very first Senior Bowl participant, was a consensus first-team All-American this season and the first player in Midwestern State history to repeat as an Associated Press Little All-American and first to earn AFCA All-America honors, achieving that feat each of the last two seasons. The left tackle was part of an offensive unit that led Division II in total offense (531.9 ypg) and scoring offense (48.6 ppg) in 2011. He also helped pave the way for Keidrick Jackson to rush for 1,058 yards and 18 touchdowns and was named the Lone Star Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year for the second-straight season.
AP Little, AFCA All-American who anchored MSU's front unit which paved the way for the Lone Star Conference's best rushing attack which ranked 16th in all of NCAA Division II with 213.5 yards per game. Silatolu was also an LSC South Division Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year and a first-team all-division pick after helping the Mustangs to an 8-4 finish this season including an appearance in the 2010 Kanza Bowl.
Played on the defensive line during prep career at Tracy High School.
