04/30/2012 - He may only be a sixth-round pick, but the Jaguars are high on Mike Harris. The cornerback from Florida State played two years with the Seminoles after transferring from El Camino Junior College. He played under the radar as far as exposure because of the JC play, but the Jaguars were high on him, especially after watching his play in the game against Oklahoma. "We watched the Oklahoma game and he had a solo tackle on a punt cover and on kick cover so we know he's going to be a good special teams player," said Terry McDonough, Director of Player Personnel. "He has enough size, he runs well and he's a very good person. "He was a good player at Florida State and he has a real chance to make this team as a backup as a rookie." - The Sports Xchange
