05/12/2014 - The Jets will be getting a motivated player in Jace Amaro, who believed he should have been in the discussion as the best tight end in the draft along with North Carolina's Eric Ebron. But while Ebron went 10th overall to the Lions, Amaro remained on the board until deep into the second round despite a record-setting season at Texas Tech, where he had 106 catches for 1,352 yards -- the most receiving yards ever for a tight end at the FBS level. "I was the best guy," Amaro said Friday night. "I was the most versatile." - The Sports Xchange
