10/06/2013 - Georgia RB Marshall, WR Scott-Wesley out for year...Georgia lost two key members of its offense for the rest of the season after they sustained knee injuries in Saturday's overtime victory over Tennessee. Bulldogs coach Mark Richt confirmed on Sunday that running back Keith Marshall and wide receiver Justin Scott-Wesley both will miss the remainder of the season as a result of anterior-cruciate ligament injuries suffered against the Volunteers. Scott-Wesley is Georgia's second-leading receiver with 16 catches for 311 yards and two touchdowns. He's averaging 19.4 yards per catch.

Marshall is Georgia's second-leading rusher with 246 yards and one touchdown. Starting tailback Todd Gurley missed Saturday's game with an ankle injury, and it is uncertain whether he will play in Georgia's game against Missouri on Saturday. Also, Bulldogs wide receiver Michael Bennett, who has 14 catches for 176 yards and two scores, will have an arthroscopic procedure performed on his knee on Tuesday and will not play against Missouri. It's not clear when he will return to action.

The injuries probably will mean more playing time for freshman running back J.J. Green and freshman wide receiver Reggie Davis at wide out. Green rushed for 142 yards against Tennessee, and Davis has four catches for 42 yards this season. - The Sports Xchange
