I'm thinking that has to be the truth because WHY would my Houston Texans pick another RB in the first round when he have Steve Slaton?  What we need is help in the secondary so we should take a corner or safety.  Someone at CBS needs to get Mr. Rang into a drug rehab program, please!

I have never and will never understand the NFL talking heads.  They are so sure about their draft analysis, and yet you get guys like Tom Brady- not exactly an under-the-radar prospect, considering he came from Michigan.

Since Tim Tebow has left Florida, the anti-Tebow (as an NFL QB) sentiment has grown louder- and probably will continue to grow louder over the next several years ...(more)

Every year you always hear one player touted against another player, and both are equally talented and have their own drawbacks.  This year at Left Tackle there aren't many talented players.  Russell O'Kung isn't even an outstanding Left Tackle, but he is a proven best.  I've heard so much noise about Jared Veldheer!  Big, fast, smart, aggressive, but I didn't see any of those ...(more)

How does Dan LeFevour's stock not go up after being the best QB the entire evening? Tim Tebow (still the 3rd ranked QB on the list, despite the whole problem with his mechanics) struggled, Jarrett Brown (who happens to have an UP arrow next to his name) struggled, and Tony Pike had a rough day too. And Zac Robinson... man he played his ass off (and got no credit for doing so). And he's merely ...(more)

If the Lions take a free safety at #2 overall, I'll eat my Lions shirt.  If they take anything other than a DT or trade, I'm officially resigning (after all these years) from their fan base.  In fact, I'd LOVE to see them trade up one spot to land Suh.

And does anyone else on here get the feeling that Chad Reuter just threw darts to put together his mock draft?  I

I wouldn't pencil in the Maryland or Oklahoma o-linemen so fast. The only starter this year who is in a contract situation is RT willie colon, and he is restricted. The age issue is catching up much more with the Steelers defense, and anyone who doesn't think the secondary needs immediate help didn't watch the team this year. Their priorities have to be CB (where their corners didn't have a pic ...(more)

Obviously no one knws for sure but has there ever been a a team with the number 1 pick with as big a hole at QB?  I read some threads on here that ST. Louis has bigger needs than  QB?  really...Null and Reilly and Boller are enough to say "yeah, lets wait a year and see how that pans out."  you gotta be kidding me.  Everyone thinks Claussen is overhyped cause the ...(more)

What a joke. The kid was recognized as the BEST running back in college football. Now hes the sixth best a month later? Maybe he should spend the next few weeks at a tanning booth, then he might get the respect he deserves. As a Charger fan, and the departure of Tomlinson looming, i hope the bolts steal this kid at the bottom of the first round. At 6'1 and 235lbs with a 4.55 40yd , i just dont underst ...(more)

Chad Reuter lost a lot of my respect before I even got past the second pick. I know the Lions history of drafts is pathetic, but Millen is gone and last year's class under Mayhew looks pretty solid after one year, establishing potentially 5 starters (Stafford, Pettigrew, Delmas, Levy and Hill). So my question is.... ERIC FREAKING BERRY?

Look, Berry is a great player. He is also a SAFE

Are their notes confusing anyone else?

If Denver got Chicagos pick this year, why do they just have a #10 and Chicago is not listed? did they trade their pick or that pick? why isn't that in the notes?

The Phiily note is confusing. Did Buff get their pick last year or this? I can't remember. If it was last year why mention it?

I thought NE got Oaks pick this year

The guy is a freak of an athlete.  I agree with Suh at 1, but Berry should fall no further than 2.  Bradford at 4, really?  I think the Oklahoma QB experiments have never really worked out (see Jason White, Josh Heupel), I don't see Bradford being any different.  I'd take Clausen over Bradford, but not top 5 either.

How does Toby Gerhart get rated this low after having the season he did? The experts seem to be enamored with size and speed. Anthony Dixon is rated ahead of Toby, but he is slower and his weight would put him at the full back level. C.J. Spiller is the only running back in this range who has what you would call blazing speed, but he did not have near the stats that Gerhart did. Hopefully scouts a ...(more)

How can you put Dan Lefevour at number six behind Tebow and Tony Pike? That's crazy. Lefevour was awarded MVP of the Senior Bowl over Pike. Lefevour won the Marine Corps quarterback challenge this weekend. Lefevour has better stats than Tebow. He's faster and has better throwing mechanics, including exeperience taking snaps from center.

These are rhetorical questions, of course. I kno

The Skins could not possibly be stupid enough, with Shanahan in charge, to draft a QB, could they?  How many non-existent running lanes and Campbell poundings do they need to see before they draft a bleeping OL?  A #4 OL will be a pro-bowl guy, just look around the league and you can see that.  Campbell is not the problem on offense.  Ever notice that during the few occasions t ...(more)
