| Pete Prisco, CBSSports.com Senior Writer - Round 2 | ||
| No. 33: Rams select: Brian Quick, WR, Appalachian State | Grade | |
| This is a bit of a reach for a raw kid. He does have size and can run, but he has lapses and doesn't always run great routes. Boom or bust. | ||
| No. 34: Colts select: Coby Fleener, TE, Stanford | Grade | |
| I love this pick. He will be a star. He is the perfect guy for the modern NFL passing game. He will be a star. | ||
| No. 35: Ravens select: Courtney Upshaw, DE, Alabama | Grade | |
| The Ravens traded down and got a heck of a player. That's why Ozzie Newsome and Eric DeCosta are ranked among the best as personnel men. Nice pick. | ||
| No. 36: Broncos select: Derek Wolfe, DT, Cincinnati | Grade | |
| They needed help at defensive tackle, but why not Worthy? I liked him better. Wolfe is a little bit of a reach. Worthy was a better choice. | ||
| No. 37: Browns select: Mitchell Schwartz, OT, California | Grade | |
| I actually have to applaud the Browns for this pick. He is a tough guy. Nice pick. | ||
| No. 38: Jaguars select: Andre Branch, DE, Clemson | Grade | |
| They needed to get a defensive end and they did. I really like this pick. He was an underrated player in this draft. | ||
| No. 39: Rams select: Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama | Grade | |
| This is a Jeff Fisher pick. It can really pay off if he stays out of trouble. Big if. Risky. | ||
| No. 40: Panthers select: Amini Silatolu, OG, Midwestern State | Grade | |
| This is a small-school tough guy who has a chance to be a Mike Iupati mauler. Level of competition is a concern. | ||
| No. 41: Bills select: Cordy Glenn, OT, Georgia | Grade | |
| Buddy Nix was patient and didn't take a tackle in the first round, but landed a good one in the second round. Weight is a concern. But he had some impressive games in college. | ||
| No. 42: Dolphins select: Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford | Grade | |
| He has to play right tackle for the Dolphins, which means he has to be much more physical than he's been in college. | ||
| No. 43: Jets select: Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech | Grade | |
| This is a risk. He is a feast or famine guy. But the Jets needed some speed outside. But the Jets took two risks with their first two picks. Boom or bust draft. | ||
| No. 44: Chiefs select: Jeff Allen, OT, Illinois | Grade | |
| Big kid. Good feet. But this is high. The Chiefs drafted Asamoah from Illinois a couple of years ago to play guard and now they do it again. | ||
| No. 45: Bears select: Alshon Jeffery, WR, South Carolina | Grade | |
| They need receivers, but what are they getting, a 235-pound guy or a 215-pound player. He doesn't have speed, which they need opposite Brandon Marshall. Why him? | ||
| No. 46: Eagles select: Mychal Kendricks, ILB, California | Grade | |
| This is one of the more underrated players in this draft. He is a tackling machine. He's little, but he can run and hit. Perfect Eagles linebacker. | ||
| No. 47: Seahawks select: Bobby Wagner, OLB, Utah State | Grade | |
| Seahawks needed a fast, athletic linebacker. This kid is that and more. He will be perfect for a Seattle defense that could be nasty if Irvin is what they think he can be. | ||
| No. 48: Patriots select: Tavon Wilson, FS, Illinois | Grade | |
| This is a need pick, but he might have been taken a little too high. If he's good, he'll be able to let McCourty move back to corner. But he was a corner at Illinois. Belichick might be doing what I say teams should do: Play corners at safety. | ||
| No. 49: Chargers select: Kendall Reyes, DT, Connecticut | Grade | |
| This is a player some thought would go in the first round. He fills a need for the Chargers in their 3-4. Another nice job by A.J. Smith. | ||
| No. 50: Rams select: Isaiah Pead, RB, Cincinnati | Grade | |
| I like this pick. He's a nice change-of-pace back for Jackson. In the second round, backs work. I like it. | ||
| No. 51: Packers select: Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan State | Grade | |
| I love this selection. Ted Thompson gets it. Moving up to get Worthy to fill a spot that was a trouble spot when Cullen Jenkins left is a good move. | ||
| No. 52: Titans select: Zach Brown, OLB, North Carolina | Grade | |
| A run-and-chase linebacker. Isn't that the Tennessee style? Brown was considered a potential first-round pick, but he didn't always play hard. | ||
| No. 53: Bengals select: Devon Still, DT, Penn State | Grade | |
| This kid was once considered a potential top-10 pick. He had some off-field issues, but he made plays. He will make the inside four of the Bengals very tough. | ||
| No. 54: Lions select: Ryan Broyles, WR, Oklahoma | Grade | |
| This is risk. He is coming off a bad knee injury and he wasn't a burner before the injury. | ||
| No. 55: Falcons select: Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin | Grade | |
| With Todd McClure getting up in the years, this is a nice pick. The Falcons had real problems inside last year. He could also play right guard in a pinch. | ||
| No. 56: Steelers select: Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State | Grade | |
| Yes, he has character concerns. But he's a heck of player. Worth the risk as a second-round pick. Nice move, Steelers. | ||
| No. 57: Broncos select: Brock Osweiler, QB, Arizona State | Grade | |
| He needs time to develop, but now he has it. Learning behind Peyton Manning will help him. In five years, he will be a good, quality starter. Watch. | ||
| No. 58: Buccaneers select: Lavonte David, OLB, Nebraska | Grade | |
| One of my favorite players in this draft. I compared him to Derrick Brooks in a column and I think he has that ability. What a steal. Great move. | ||
| No. 59: Eagles select: Vinny Curry, DE, Marshall | Grade | |
| They have Trent Cole and Jason Babin, but you can't pass up more pass rushers. Curry will do a nice job in their style of defense. Solid pick. | ||
| No. 60: Ravens select: Kelechi Osemele, OT, Iowa State | Grade | |
| He can play either right tackle of left tackle. Bryant McKinnie isn't a kid anymore at left tackle. The Ravens get a good, solid player. | ||
| No. 61: 49ers select: LaMichael James, RB, Oregon | Grade | |
| Why? Don't they have Kendall Hunter? Is it to help the return game? Weird pick, even though I like the player. | ||
| No. 62: Packers select: Casey Hayward, CB, Vanderbilt | Grade | |
| Wow. What a draft for the Packers. There were some scouts who thought this kid had first-round ability. Thompson nails another one. | ||
| No. 63: Giants select: Rueben Randle, WR, LSU | Grade | |
| They considered him in the first round, and now he fell to them? That's value. Some scouts think he was a little soft. But it's a good value pick. | ||
