NFLDraftScout.com provides a positional breakdown of team needs looking at the 2011 NFL Draft. Free agents listed are those expected to be unrestricted free agents based on the new rules in the Collective Bargaining Agreement which allow players with at least six accrued NFL seasons to become UFAs. The ratings, broken down by position for each team, will be updated frequently leading up to the draft and beyond. An explanation of what a rating number represents is listed at the bottom of each page. Copyright NFLDraftScout.com, distributed by The Sports Xchange

Notes
Baltimore looks to be well-positioned in this year's playoffs, but their offense is less-than-exciting and their pass defense could improve. Their free agency list is long and full of experience, and Ray Lewis isn't getting any younger. Ozzie Newsome will try to build the offensive line, linebacker corps, and try once again to get more healthy bodies at cornerback.

Notes
The Bengals were one of the most disappointing teams in the league, with the TO/Ochocinco/Carson Palmer trio not working well at all. Not only could TO be allowed to leave as a free agent, but Palmer may find his heir apparent on the sidelines next year. The run game also let the team down; improvements in the offensive line could help, but RB Cedric Benson joins T.O. as players probably not brought back as free agents. The defense's biggest deficiency is a lack of pass rush, so finding a difference-making end is in the cards. Look for big changes in a below-average secondary, as well.

Notes
A new coaching staff comes to a 5-11 Cleveland team in need of major renovations. The entire front seven could be replaced. QB Colt McCoy has given the team some hope with his solid play and RB Peyton Hillis has stepped up, but the right side of the line is in flux and more explosive offensive weapons are needed if the team is to contend for a division championship.

Notes
The Steelers always seem to be ready for the future, and this year is no exception. But they do need to bolster an ever-middling offensive line if QB Ben Roethlisberger wants to stay healthy. There's no real worrying about the defense, though their cornerback group is a bit average and the Smith/Keisel DE duo is getting older. The team's ability to draft well means they will likely fill these holes and contend again in 2011.
