Peyton Manning arrived in Denver this March amid much fanfare. And after temporarily roughing it in Mike Shanahan's 35,000-square-foot hovel, the Broncos' newest franchise quarterback finally has a home of his own. Manning recently purchased a seven-bedroom mansion in Cherry Hills Village for $4.575 million, according to the Denver Post.
Although it's only half the size of Shanahan's pad (a paltry 16,000 square feet), Manning got a deal. The house was originally listed at $5.25 million when it went on the market in March 2011. It includes seven bathrooms, a media room, a billiards room, an elevator and even a panic room. (Which is where you'll find John Fox should Peyton not make it through the season.)
Manning signed a five-year, $96 million contract this spring, and he'll make $18 million this season. We're guessing he'll be paying for this in cash. (Click to enlarge the images below.)

* We have no idea if that's true but it sounded like the right thing to say.
