Dolphins continue to explore trades for a QB, Matt Moore most likely to go

While Dolphins team officials have raised the prospect of carrying four quarterbacks into Monday, no one around the league is buying it. Sources said Jeff Ireland continues to see what value there is for veteran quarterbacks Matt Moore and David Garrard, and with both set to earn more than $2 million, carrying both behind rookie starter Ryan Tannehill makes little sense.

Garrard had a good relationship with Tannehill, is more of a veteran presence and is also less tradeable given his age and the fact he is coming off injury. However, team sources said Garrard was impressive at a workout and is working his way back from a recent scope.

Several teams remain interested in quarterback help, with Arizona and Green Bay chief among them. Miami is seeking receivers desperately -- its worth noting the Packers have an abundance including James Jones, who would be a top option on Miami's weak roster.

Several general managers said they believe Moore will be dealt over the weekend.
