There was a crazy rumor making the rounds leading up to the Michigan-Alabama game last Saturday that involved Floyd Mayweather making a $3 million bet on the Wolverines. But Mayweather, thankfully for his bank account, tweeted on Wednesday night that such speculation was just that: 'a rumor.'

Not a rumor however, is Mayweather throwing $200,000 on the Cowboys second-half line. We know this because he tweeted out a picture of his betting ticket.

That is a lot of cheddar, and it's pretty impressive that Floyd dropped that kind of cash on the Cowboys -1.5 in the second half with Dallas up 7-3 over the Giants at the break and not necessarily looking dominant.

I's possible that he did bet on Michigan and just didn't tweet out the ticket. Whatever, he walked out of a casino as a big-time winner on Wednesday night, assuming that he didn't lose any other larger bets or a combination of other ones.

And I'm pretty sure I know someone who approves of Floyd's move:
